I think...

I think I'm 7 weeks now. I tried and tried and tried to think back to the first date of my last period...and I think I vaguely remember it being the day that Aryanna was born...and thinking of the irony that I would start on that day....Whatever. I have my first appointment on Tuesday...and I am SO thrilled. I cannot wait b/c I'm getting an ultrasound....so it will be so neat to FINALLY find out exactly how far along I am...and to see that little blueberry of mine that is growing inside me....I haven't felt any "pregnancy symptoms" at all...except for the fatigue...and the growing desire to pee every hour....but no morning sickness. Whohoo! My mom said she didn't really get sick either....This past Sunday was Grandparents Day....I got both our parents cards to celebrate....it was fun!

Here is what I've learned about being pregnant so far:

* I love it...

* You really do have random hormonal freak outs on your husband...but with that being said...I think I've been pregnant before b/c I KNOW I've freaked out on Derrick in the past!!!

* Word travels fast...

* No two women have identical pregnancies...

* People who have been trying for a long time have more patience and love than I did towards pregnant women.... They are my heroes...

* I've already had people tell me that they think it's a boy...

* It's fine not to find out.... er...tell me that in 10 weeks...

* There are alot of people with freakish questions...

* EVERYONE has advice for you...

* Pregnancy dreams are WAY random....but have been VERY vivid...

* People SERIOUSLY do not need to wear maternity clothes at 7 weeks....I still fit into everything...and let's be real- I DO already have a gut, so I'd pull it off better!

* Books about being pregnant crack me up...I've been loving A Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy

* It takes EXTRA energy to do photoshoots....

* You notice EVERYONE around you who are pregnant- maybe even moreso than when I was "trying"...

* Some people aren't as enthusiastic as you would hope when finding out...

* You've gotta love your family and how thrilled they are for you...

* Good friends (esp. those who have already gone through all this) are the best to listen to...and they have sooo much to give you!!!!

* I love calling my baby a blueberry (last week it was a lentil bean)...

Anywho- Derrick always makes fun of my blogs b/c they are more like novels....so I'd better end my thoughts....More next week, I'm sure!
