Day28

A picture of something you're afraid of:

You can laugh at me all you want...but...when googling images for "praying mantis"... even scanning the images made my skin crawl!!! And the thought of having a picture of a praying mantis on my blog...for me to happen upon while scrolling my blog... FORCED me to upload this picture instead. This is the character Manny from Bug's Life. And if I were to see any of his brothers or sisters around... you would instantly see a big tall asian girl FLIPOUT!

When I was younger...and not quite terrified of them...my dad caught a couple of PM and put them in a jar. I thought it was so interesting how they "follow" you with their eyes... I watched them all day. They were my pets. My friends. ...Until. Until the next day when I went to say "Good Morning"...and the one PM ate the other PM's head off. Oh.Em.Gee. It was no longer interesting how they follow you with their eyes... I know what they're thinking... you wanna eat my head off too... don't you... DON'T YOU?!?!

Obviously now that I'm older... I know that that's not the case... but they really do freak me the crap out...and I do think it is UBER creepy how they just watch you... ...It's not like I like any other bug... but for CERTAIN...I'm afraid of PM's. Ew.

Day25

A picture of your favorite day:

I really loved Easter 2010. It was such a perfect and wonderful day! We had a nice service at Palm Valley Church on Saturday night...then Sunday morning, the kids and I went to Papa and Hanni's house to open up our baskets, decorate eggs, and do a little egg hunting! After Daddy got home from Sunday services... we headed over to a park for our 4th Annual Logan Family Easter Picnic. This year was especially fun with ALL the kids hunting for eggs...and Jude was finally old enough to play w/o having mom and dad hover... Emme was just a smooshie little doll and enjoyed getting snuggles from all her family. Derrick and I even were able to enjoy a game or two of CORNHOLE! ...and momma took a bazillion pictures! Def. one of my favorite days EVER!

Day24

A picture of something you wish you could change:

I wish I could change society... people. I wish that we would be just a little bit kinder to each other... that parents would stop and PARENT their children... that these babies would stop having babies... that we would respect each other... that we would value education... that we would stop paying the stupid athletes so much freakin' money and underpay teachers and policemen and nurses... that while we would "coexist" with each other- we would still stand for what we believe in- and that be okay... that we would take a step back and see that us Americans are SO rich and SO spoiled and should give back in anyway we can...

Day 21- A picture of something you wish you could forget:
I mean... how do you even find a picture of something like this??? There are many things...many memories that will randomly pop in my head... from as early in my life as I can remember... that I wish I could forget... embarrassing moments... or moments where I man an awful bonehead decision... but ultimately... there is no way to capture this in a picture...
