Unfortunately...there was someone who is a FB friend that was posting bogus- and mean- guesses... so the game has been taken down. I have created a new game. If you would like the link, please comment me w/ your email address and I will send it to you.

...catching up- March...
March
Oh my my... So.behind. March was a busy busy month! We did a TON of fun stuff!!!
*DISNEYLAND! Wootwoot! Jude and I had the pleasure of going to DLand w/ Jaime and Zoe! Derrick and Emme stayed home...and it was SO weird not going to DLo!!! (We've literally gone to Disneyland together a zillion times since we were 18!!!) I loved being able to spend so much time with my boy and it was awesome going w/ my BFF! Jude and Zoe did great on the ride there... although- Mr. Jdub kept bugging Zoe and Jaime and I decided the seats must have been WAY too close together!!! :) We went to the park late that night that we arrived and then all day the next day and then also in the morning on the last day! It was a ton of fun...but it was CRAZY busy! Like...can't even go to all the "lands" busy... like...can't maneuver the freakin' stroller around the crowds busy... like...I'm about to punch someone busy! Going during Spring Break=Fail! We had a blast, but I think it woulda been MUCH more enjoyable w/o the millions of people there too!
Top 10 Roadtrip Moments:
10. Being Wheelchair accessible
9. Jude being "scared" of everything!!!
8. Jude wanting to ride certain rides: Carousel and Trains
7. Pretending my arms weren't going to FALL OFF pushing Jude and Zoe in the stroller!
6. The missing ice machine and making BFFs w/ other hotel guests!
5. Watching Jaime and Zoe experience new parts of Disney- Tower of Terror, Aladdin Show, TS Midway Mania
4. "Catching da Zuuuuurrrr" Haha!
3. Meeting up w/ Amy- and Jude passing out at lunch!
2. Character Breakfast Fail. I mean... I knew Jude was afraid of the characters... I guess I underestimated HOW scared he was! LOL!
1. Road trippin' it w/ my favorite boy and my BFF!

*Train Park: So when we got back from Disneyland...Jude kept saying he wanted to go ride the Alien Ride (TS Mania)...and that he wanted to ride the trains... so Derrick and I packed up a little picnic and took the kids to the train park in Scottsdale. It was a lot of fun... Jude REALLY had a blast... and the weather wasn't quite horrid, yet! :) We actually had to drag a kicking and screaming Jude to the car!!! Homeslice did NOT want to leave!!!

*Zoo: Derrick was awesome to take a 1/2 day at the end of March...and accompany Jude, Emme and I to the Zoo. We were meeting up w/ my SILs and their kids...and I just really didn't think I could handle both of the kids on my own! I was SURE glad he came...b/c I forgot how hilly the Phx Zoo is...and how HEAVY Jude can be in the double stroller!!! Not to mention that Niki and Tori were walking WAY fast! LOL! It was a stupid hot day... I mean... really? It had been nice and breezy and cool just a few days earlier...but we went on a day that the sun was not relenting! The kids had a lot of fun though- yelling at the monkeys, seeing the sleeping koalas, feeding the giraffe, and watching all the other crazy animals lay around in the heat! After a nice quick lunch...we left for home- where my kids passed out in the car and then tried to boycott their naps when we got home! (Mom won!)

...catching up- Feb...
I'm so terribly sorry that I haven't been blogging! I've had a ton on my plate...and it seems as though life is not going to be slowing down! So...I'm going to do a quick blog to catch you all up!
February
Oh geez... this was so stinkin' long ago!!!
*Emme was able to attend her very first Father/Daughter dance w/ her daddy at CCV! It was so cute dressing her up and painting her nails (although- it didn't seem like they lasted very long!)... I think I was WAY more into it than Derrick...and of course Emme is so young that she didn't really know what was going on! But... it was really meaningful for this momma to have her girl go on her first date w/ her daddy! As one who ALWAYS looked up to her dad...and would even say she was going to marry her dad one day... I want Emme to know that there is a man out there that will always treat her like the princess she is! (Derrick took her all 3 nights b/c he sang a special song- and had Miss Em on stage w/ him... SO sweet!)

*My 31st birthday was at the end of February...and Derrick was SO awesome by asking his mom to watch the kids for us so that we could go on a little getaway. We did a lot of research on where we wanted to go or what we wanted to do... but with the amount of time we were going to have... it didn't seem practical to fly to NY or Hawaii or even drive to CA... we wanted to spend as much time together and not waste time traveling. One thing that I've been wanting to do for forEVER is do a spa day...and Derrick- being the WONDERFUL man that he is, obliged! We had a fantabulous and relaxing weekend... It started off at the mall to buy some new maternity clothes!!! Then some PF Changs...and then we checked into our hotel- The Scottsdale Princess! The next morning we enjoyed some room service (delish!) and then jet setted to the Red Door Spa for a day of pampering! Derrick and I each got a warm sugar scrub, massage, mani/pedi and our hair done... and I got some makeup done! We left there...got some Sprinkles and then went to dinner at Fogo de Chao- holy Brazilian beef, batman! lol! Anywho- we went to the mall our final day after lunching it up at Maggiano's... and rushed home to see our babies (who were both totally sick!). Mema is THE best for watching them!
It was a great birthday...and a great month! I totally regret not blogging about it sooner! (Seriously too- if you EVER are wanting a spa day... the Red Door Spa- Biltmore was awesome!!! Made us feel SO pampered and made the day all about us!!!)

..."Gary Busey- you complete me"...
Buahahahhahaha! So. I'm breaking my blog hiatus... not to write about my spa day...that was over a month ago... not to write about my DLand turnaround that was almost a month ago... no. It is to share with you the wisdom of the one... the only... Gary Busey. Buahahahha!
So. I like reality tv. I don't love it. But I like it. Derrick... he LOATHES reality tv. But apparently when I was in California with Jude, Jaime, and Zoe... DLo came to the realization that his wife can be quite entertaining... and that life is just not the same without her nagging and witty comments! Hmm... just sayin'- I'm KINDA awesome. ;) So... I guess... for whatever reason... he started watching Celebrity Apprentice. ?!?!?!?! What?! He watched that night's episode... and enjoyed it SO much that he watched the previous episodes from the season on our OnDemand feature. ?!?!?!?! What?! So... I get home from Cali... and he explains to me how bored he was w/o me (aw) and then confesses that he's into CA...and that he set our DVR to record it. Now... I'm not gunna lie. I didn't believe him. What?!
Then...the following week... we had just put the kids down... and I'm looking to see what's on DVR. Guess what was there. Celebrity Apprentice. What?!?! I totally judged him! LOL! So. I reluctantly sat there and watched the 2 hour program with him. And. Can I just tell you... that although I do not care for Mr. Trump and his combover hair, his nasty spray tan (um, you are rich sir... there is NO reason they can't spray tan your eye area too), his pouty lips, or his annoying voice... I am TOTALLY hooked!!! BUAHAHA! I mean. It's reality television mixed in with CELEBRITIES!!!! And those who know me... know I'm ALL about celebrity gossip!!!! Oh my word. It is comedy... COMEDY!
One of our favorite contestants is Gary Busey. He crazy. No... for real. He crazy. LOL But it's awesome and hilarious. One of the things GB is known for... his acronyms. He has them for random words... and will randomly (but VERY seriously) explain them to people all the time! Here are some of his insights:
Relationship - Really Exciting Love Affair Till It's Over, Now Sobriety Hangs In Peril
Sober - Son Of a Bitch Everything's Real
Lucky - Living Under Correct Knowledge Yearly
Now - No Other Way
Romance - Relying On Magnificent And Necessary Compatible Energy
Fear - False Evidence Appearing Real
Light - Living In God's Heavenly Thoughts

Fun- Finally Understanding Nothing
The guy is a trip... and I will be sad if and when he gets "fired"!!!! LOL!

Day29
A picture that can always make you smile:
One of the things that I love about this challenge is that it's made me look in my Shutterfly account at ALL the millions of pictures I've taken of my kiddos over the past few years. I came across this one again and immediately smiled. Emme was just a little over a month old in this shot...making Jude about 21 months old. Jude fell in love with his sister from the moment she came home. He was so gentle and loving and would always go give her kisses without prompting- even if she was sound asleep in her swing! (As you can see in this picture- it startled her and made her do the "throwmyarmsupintheair" thing!) Jude is always so sweet on babies... I can't wait to see him be a big brother again...and look forward to see how Emme reacts!!! :)
